Abstract: Digital-aesthetic text sovereignty in the area of poetic-literary education (DiäS*Literature/Poetics)

Cultural, artistic, musical, poetic and sporting education share a common foundation with aesthetics (Frederking et al. 2023). Against this background, the aim of the DiäS project is to enable teachers in the context of digital transformation to initiate and deepen digital-aesthetic sovereignty in the classroom among their students. The subject-specific development of digital-aesthetic sovereignty in the field of cultural, artistic, musical, poetic and sporting education is the direct goal of the training modules planned in DiäS for teachers, the implicit goal for students, the thematic subject of the training modules and the didactic basis of the digital and hybrid teaching-learning arrangements developed and empirically tested.
The aim of the training courses is to sensitize subject teachers and learners to the opportunities and risks of digital transformation, to help them develop a corresponding ethically-reflective attitude and to increase the acceptance of digital and digitally-supported subject teaching.

Central research questions are:

- What does digital sovereignty mean for specific disciplines?
- What characterizes digital sovereignty in the field of cultural, artistic, musical, poetic and sports education?
- Are there domain-connecting similarities in the manifestations of digital sovereignty in the areas of cultural, artistic, musical, poetic and sports education?
- Under what conditions is digital sovereignty expanded among teachers and students?

In cooperation with the Tübingen Hector Institute for Empirical Educational Research (Nagengast & Trautwein), a randomized field study will investigate the extent to which the training courses developed to initiate literary-aesthetic and poetic-theatrical educational processes actually have positive effects on teachers and students. The focus here is on functional-application-related competencies as well as personal-reflective-phenomenal attitudes at the level of self- and world-relationships, which are to be empirically surveyed within the framework of a six-dimensional model.
The poster will present and discuss the concept of the digital teaching-learning modules as well as examples of implementation and initial findings from the accompanying empirical research.
